During the day, we went to the Armed Forces Bowl to watch Air Force and Cal play. At night we went to the base to watch fireworks, followed by appetizers at Chilis and a little football watching. Right at New Years, we did a little smooching!! Ooh, la, la!

Played Bingo with the kids all afternoon, had Macaroni and Hot Dogs for dinner, watched "Underdog", sent the kids to bed, watched "Balls of Fury", had some shrimp, watched the ball drop, switched the TV over to Everybody loves Raymond and promptly fell asleep on the couch. so far, I win.

Nice try, Big A. Good to hear from you guys, I'll say first. But I'm afraid I'll have to take the prize from you, whatever it is.

I worked on New year's Eve. I worked until 8pm. With a friggin' cold. A mild one, though. Then I came home, took a shower, played a round of "Life" with the boys, then watched "The Twilight Zone" until 3am. The end.

Anywhoo, HAPPY NEW YEAR ONE AND ALL!!

I guess mine was a little more eventful than graybeards. I went to a friends house where we were supposed to have a party with more people, but it ended up being me and him and a third friend (female) and the three of us and his parents toasted the New Year at midnight while watching the ball drop on TV. We soon went to bed after that and slept most of the next day.

PSC, thanks for the comment, and though I know about your holiday "mishaps", shall I say, to put it politely, you said "we" went to bed after mentioning the three of you, and slept most of the next day. Am I having a fit of an active imagination, or did I read between the lines correctly? If so, congratulations! If not, I'm sorry. In either case, I guess I still hold the title. Lucky me.

*sigh*

we went over to my sister-in-laws' house ... watched a sponge bob movie (David Hasselhoff was in it!!) to keep my two year old happy ... then we watched the Dick Clark special ... he sounded like he was gonna die. Then we drove home and went to bed.

it depends on what your definition of "we" is

Rob and I went riding during the day at a new atv park that opened, then I fell asleep at 8:30.

Nothing too exciting here. We played a round of "Answer That!", cooked hot dogs over the fire in our fire place, and had planned to stay up and watch the ball drop, but we were all in bed by 9:30pm.

We had a bunch of people over, played some cards, rock band and some karoake. Toasted the new year, had lots of fun, in bed at 3 am.
