Update On The Derek Packages

Here's some pics of everything that was passed on to me, or things that your money helped to buy, for those who sent money. To all that helped contribute to this, not only do I thank you tremendously, but I know that Derek and those he comes in contact with will be extremely grateful. Not only were we able to help a friend and classmate, but we'll be able to touch the lives of others half way across our planet through our efforts, and that is just a tremendous thought. THANK YOU ALL!!!

The pile o' stuff for Derek

Letters and cards

Here's the boxes!

Labelled and ready to go...

...and headin' out the door!

Special thanks go to Jill, Ricky and Jen, Ma and Pa Gum, Jen P. for contributing and organizing more through Comcast, Sue, Ben, Beka and kiddos, and their church, Mrs. Thompson for her tremendous contribution, Ruth, Cheryl, and my three boys. Chris, I know you were busy Monday - perhaps you can get your stuff to Jen to send out with her packages - check with her. And to anyone else who would like to get something off to Derek, check with Jen. Thanks everyone for making this such a success - My hat is off to all of you!

On a side note, I estimated that between the money sent and the products purchased, an estimated $350 went into this project, not counting the letters and cards, which no one could put a value on. Thanks again!
