This is my first week of Adult/Child I and already the whole class is in tears!Just thought I would say hi to everyone since I will be banned to my room the rest of the semester studying :(. Surely I can't be the only one that needs to vent, so let's have it! Tell us what you need to get off your chest. Anyone sick of this dang snow yet? Common, it can't all be a bed of roses. Someone must have a complaint....Jammin, Graybeard ....anyone?

I try not to complain, except when I'm attempting to induce smiles from everyone, and can't think of anything to complain about. Well, except for the incoming snow. And a stiff back. And the gray hair. And the potholes in the road, getting a flat tire, having my favorite printer die, getting behind in work, insomnia, the war in Iraq, waiting for summer, needing a vacation, burnt food, MSN being down yesterday, poverty, running out of coffee....
Hmmmm, no, I don't have anything to complain about.
(Seriously, I take each day as it comes, and believe there is a reason for everything. There's an old fable where one guy tells another about certain events. He tells the guy something that sounds bad, but the teller says, "Well, no, it was bad because..." and the guy says, "yes, that was bad", and the teller says, "well, no, that part was good because..." and the story goes on and on like that, back and forth. Point being, sometimes we see something as bad and it ends up being a good thing, and sometimes we see something as great, and it ends up being bad for us. I try to look at things that way, and take it as it comes. That story became a part of me long, long ago, and that's why my look on things can be a bit different at times. Enjoy!)
Well, I guess this blog came in just the knick of time for both of us. We can uphold one another. We just started our class this week and we already have a quiz next Tues and a Test on unit 1 and 2 next Wednesday...We also have to have a research topic picked out by Wednesday...talk about moving quickly....help........On top of it, I just spent the past two hours studying one chapter on IVs and I have another chapter to cover since that it was our quiz is on next Tuesday. My weekend is shot. Anyway, as they say misery loves company so here we are :)Thanks for the "light" posts Graybeard, keep them coming, we are going to need them.
Wow! I don't envy either of you. Sounds like you both have full plates this semester. I dread just doing my CPE (Continued Professional Education) each year, and that's nothing like what you two have going on. I'll be thinking about you and praying for strength as you both go through this semester. Keep us posted on how you are doing and specific challenges we can be praying about for you :)
justhavinfun don't let donna make you think she has it rough. cryin out loud - 19 hours a week?? come on ... i'd love to work 19 hours a week. THEN she has the whole summer off. AND it's PCC - you've seen their videos, it's one big beach party! don't feel bad for her!
