As far as know, we have nothing going on that night, so we'll be there, wherever that might be! Friday night sounds great, and my hat is off to you for setting a date! Thank you!
I don't mind travel, so I guess it depends on what is central for all of those that would like to come, but so far Newington seems to be the place. There are so many good restaurants in the area there. What about Smokey Bones? We've been there once, and the food is excellent if you like barbeque and stuff along those lines. There's TGIF, Longhorn's, Olive Garden, Bugaboo Creek, The Outback, and of course, Asia.
Those are all just thoughts, but we are open to anywhere. We're in, though, wherever we decide!
We'd love to join you, but we have another committment on Friday nights :( Keep us posted on future get-togethers :)
C'mon, J!!! What is more important than a night getting together with friends and seeing a crazy person! Ok, Ok, I won't pressure you, but it would be fun!
Jen, and all, just a thought, but would Saturday work better for all? I'm good for either, but just thought I'd throw that out.
And anywhere is fine, too. If Asia sounds best to everyone, sobeit! Let's get this set! I'm all for it and looking forward to it!
Graybeard, I know, I know...How could I pass up an opportunity to meet the infamous Graybeard??? We'll have to make a plan to get-together soon. I noticed your note about switching to Sat. We never have anything going on on Sat. nights, but this Sat. night Sue and I have plans to get together for dinner & movies at her house.
Jen, you get to set the time and place! You name it, and we'll be there! Asia is fine with me, as well as anywhere else, and I think it best if you just set a time and place so that it's final, and we will bow to your judgment. You're paying with all that money you have stashed away under your mattress, right? Oh, Sue's already gotten most of it? Too bad.
And J, at first I thought you really were busy, but the "we don't do nothin' on Saturdays but this time we are" routine leads me to believe you're actually avoiding me! Could it be true? O, the pain of it all!!!! I just can't believe it! Ok, I can, but that's beside the point. I don't bite, except on Mondays; I have had my rabies shots, and if you are avoiding me, I'll hunt you down and gut you like fish! (Sorry - had to quote a little Jim Carrey there. I didn't mean that.)
Ok, Ok, I'll stop with the guilt trip. As long as you keep your word on "plan to get-together", then it's all good. I'm looking forward to meeting the woodsy Easter egg hunters!
Don't worry, Jen. We won't stand you up. We'll be there. (I can't speak for Chris, of course, but I assume they'll be there as well.) But if you think I'm getting up and singing, you're crazier than I am!!! I only use my singing as a threat, and we'd get kicked out and banned for life if I did.
Shaun & Ben - how about it? C'mon, don't give up any lame excuses like wife in labor or house on fire - just be there! ;) It would be fantastic if you were to be there! Think of the fun and possibilities!!!
