Charles Robert (aka. Charlie) arrived on April 26. My thanks to all the SENHCA folks that helped pray him through some initial difficulties. Thankfully, he is doing very well now and is home doing all the things a newborn baby is supposed to do (eating, sleeping, pooping, and staying wide awake from 11pm - 4am.)
Everyday Susan and I figure out a new trick or two to make Charlies life less dramatic and more restful. He is doing great. His mother and I are surviving. He needs to pack on some wieght, but I suspect that won't be a major problem.
Only a few more days until I have to return to work. Susan's mom will be staying with us for a couple weeks to help out. In the meantime, I will enjoy the quality time with the boy.

why is it that everyone always has a picture of the parents asleep on the couch with their new baby sleeping on them? Such sweet times - enjoy them!
