Agencies checking on safety of ballfield built on landfill. I refuse to believe what once was our field of dreams is now unfit for young people to tread upon. It never hurt any of us (except for the occasional bad hop on a sharply hit ground ball.)

For those of you that don't want to fill out a huge form to read the article, check out BugMeNot.com.
Punch in the website, and it gives you a username and password. In this case,
UserId: krusty
Password: theclown.
worked fine for me.
thanks, cool site. i hate newspapers who hold articles hostage so they can get you to fill out some stupid form. Do they think people really use their real names and email addresses anymore?
never mind the danger of chemicals and radiation and evil spirits, i dont like playing on that field because the left side of the infield is about 4 feet lower than the right side.
its a crappy field and always has been. i think the government should investigate the crime of disrespecting the game of baseball by calling that a "baseball" field.
oh, and the city of somersworth sucks.
i thought this quote from the head of somersworth youth baseball was funny, ""It's been 30 years. I have no reason to believe that it's unsafe. A lot of people in this town have used the field for years, and you don't see anyone walking around with three arms," he added.
