Having been recently chastised by Capt. graybeard (yelled like Capt. caveman) for not posting recently.....
I have a new balderdash for you all. In response to the previous post, thanks to graybeards complaining, my most recent book would be the *$%#@* dictionary!! (no offense Chrispath1)....Anyways......WITHOUT LOOKING, give the part of speech, a quick definition, and use it in a sentence. Some of you kind of got lost with all of these directions last time, do the best that you can....I know there is a lot to remember...here is the word...."ZOOFLAGELLATE" I will give the true def. in a couple days.

I don't think I want to try to answer that one. It sounds like it involves walking behind an elephant with a shovel and a very large Hefty bag. Or a massive laxative endeavor for the local animal population. Or wildlife that had just enjoyed a local bean supper and indulged a bit too much. In any case, I'm sure the outcome of this definition is something you'll need some rubber gloves and clothespin for. That's my guess, and no, I haven't looked up anything. Yet. Ok, ok, I won't, dang it!
Dang it?!? Dang it?!?! What the .....You lived in Texas toooooooooo long, my friend.
Just trying to emphasize th emotion without saying to much, "if ya catch ma drift, pardna!"
Besides, I wasn't the one listening to country music, pal! Ever since my best friend down there wanted to put me in a cage and charge money for local Texans to "come and see the Yankee", I've been tramatized. I don't think I lived down there too long, I just didn't get out quick enough. ;) Dang it. (hehehe)
I think Brian's correct with the hefty bag, except you should wear it because it is what you would say if an elephant sneezed.....zooflagellate!
Howdy, ya'll!!!
I've sensed that there is side conversation going on here about Texas! Now, Graybeard, I know what it's like to be in your shows, just switched around a little bit. To be in a part of the country where you were considered "different". I was a proud Texan attending SENHCA, and I had to put up with all the Bruins-loving, Patriots-rooting, Celtics-cheering, Red Sox fanatics. I always felt you Yankees were a little odd, I mean come on... "wicked good"? What's that about? Anyway, Texas is a great State, and would welcome any of you to come and experience some of that proverbial "Southern Hospitality". So, let's keep the Texas bashing to a minimum, and remember...You have a friend in Texas!
P.S. I don't really talk with a southern accent :), I just felt the need to rush to the defense of my beloved Lone Star State!
Back to the topic at hand. Let's examine the word. Zoo = place for animals; flag = banner or emblem; elate = Happy, excited. So, by using this method, perhaps it's a (N.) happy animal flag. "The society of Giraffes for Larger Habitats organized a revolt and flew the zooflagellate of their new society." Is that more like what you were looking for? Am I close? I'm having a hard time not looking it up at this point, I hope you know! But I haven't yet!
ANSWER: any of a class of colorless flagellated protozoans that ingest food.
