Hey, I just didn't want you to jynx it, that's all! Despite many mistakes and errors, they pulled through. I gotta admit, now that it's over, it wasn't the most exciting game I've ever seen, but they won, and that's what counts. "It's not whether you win or lose, it's whether you win."

Branch did do well, though. Of course, if he wanted, he could send the Caddy my way. I wouldn't complain!

Now, here's a "useless thought" for everyone. The last superbowl I watched was 1995!! No lie, it's been that long, usually because I can't sit still for too long, but now that I'm getting older....

Oh, wait, now I remember why....THE DANG COMMERCIALS!!! It's not just "half-time" or "pre-game" or post game" any more. It's so commercialized, and you still have to pay an arm and a leg to go see the game. GAG!!!

Well, I'm so glad that I could be the rallying point for everyone here! I'll do whatever it takes to make the group feel closer!

May I be the first to extend my hand in congratulations ('cause if nothing else, Southerns are good losers) on the Patties officially achieving "Dynasty" status, that which was passed on from thelast Dynasty..the Dallas Cowboys, "America's Team".

We accept your congratulation in your defeat, and because of your single surrender, we'll release you from the eating of killer jockey shorts. However, if "Southerns are good losers", why do they always say things like "the south will rise again" and sport the rebel flag when the US has been united for decades and decades? Something doesn't fit there. And if the Cowboys were "America's Team", why weren't they at the Superbowl? I didn't hear any newsreports about outraged Americans protesting over the fact that Dallas wasn't even mentioned, let alone guests at the Bowl. Things to consider.

Well, you can dismiss the "South will rise again" as an outdated stereotype, and to a few drunken cowboys.

Now, as to being good losers, the Cowboys were there! Jimmy Johnson and Troy Aikman! And being very good losers, they both were very congratulatory to the Patties on the whole dynasty thing.

Oh, I didn't realize that the Cowboys made it to the Superbowl and were only made up of two people! Silly me!! I must've been watching the wrong game last night! And since I only hang out with drunken cowboys, what with my love for country music, and ghosts, being a licensed and registered clairvoyant, that must've been the only place I could've heard that recently. My mistake.

(I think I hit a few buttons! hehehehe! And they called me cranky! Woo hoo!)

Ok, Ok...the Superbowl is over, what say we call a truce, Alan? It's been a riot, but all good things must come to an end, so how 'bout we no longer discuss North v. South, and agree that each has it's qualities, and leave it that. I've already relented on the shorts thing!! What more do ya want!? ;) Shake on it? Darn it, yes I had my fingers crossed, but they aren't now, ok?!
