As I mentioned in my "recap of my life" e-mail, I was in NH (which by the way, is a long way from good 'ol Texas) in August for work, and I managed to get up to SENHCA and see if I could run into Mr. D. I did get to see Mr. Dahms and chat with him for a few minutes. He was getting his classroom ready for school to begin the following week.

Nice pics, Alan! I'm glad you took a picture of Mr. Dahms room, especially from that angle. Ben, if you look on top of the trim above the huge bulletin board, you can just barely see the origami scorpion up there, still there since 1990 or 1991. It's just above and to the right of the flag hanging there, resting on the trim. He pulled it down and showed it to me on Monday. Thanks again, Alan!
