Friend's Cafe Hey ya'all! Sweet updates on the blogger. Sorry I don't have any fancy pic's to post today. Wanted to catch up tho, anxious to have Derek pop in when he's got time.
Well, It's Tuesday... and I thought I'd try to go along with Chris and his suggestion to spice things up a bit. I don't really have a great question to ask, so I'll just share some thoughts. Over the years I've thought of you all ~
I was buying stocking stuffers for my nephew, Jordan (now 13!). I found these funny little plastic toy sneaker's that wind up and walk themselves in circles... I thought of Shaun! (I think that was the year he broke his arm, do I remember a cast!? - memories are getting fuzzy!!)
At a wedding reception (towards the end when things get a little wild) I heard the song by ZZTop, 'She's got Legs' ... still not quite sure, but I could picture Ben in the upper parking lot of the school, cranking his stereo to this song.
I scored tickets to the Bruins at the Fleet Center last year... second row from the ice! The guys are big down there!! Made me think about that all-nighter we took as a group to watch the Maine Mariners in highschool. Remember the awful nose bleed seats!? Made me think of Derek, and him cheering the guys on to 'FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT'!! Cause, 'it's not a good game w/out blood' ! HA, RIGHT - NOT!!
Picnic tables just aren't the same once you've seen Drew run and jump over them like the cow jumping over the moon! Everything was an obstacle to either jump over, jump on, or destroy! :)
I can't drive down Rte 91 - York Woods Road w/out thinking about racing Ricky's little shit box with Dave's mustang!! If he only knew what that car went through... then again, there's NO WAY I could have been any more rough on it than he was!!
And then there is Chris... the quiet one. Don't let him fool ya! Thanks for all your efforts over the years keeping in touch, you are a true friend!
Like Ben mentioned... we've talked more the past week than we have in many years. Glad to find that everyone has a genuine interest and willingness to catch up w/everyone. Have a fantastic week all ~ Keep up the fun notes!

Ya, you lost me at "Hey ya'll". Still looking that word up in the dictionary. Does that come between "yak" and "yam"????? Just kidding Jenny.(smile, smile) We all have a lot of memories together. That's what seems to bond us through life. It's amazing how we all have been able to just pick up where we left off. YOU bunch of old fogies-fogeys-um, foegies aw, heck, now I gotta look that word up too.
